Match Report – Under 14 – Round 3, 2018

U14 Boys – Vermont vs Bayswater.

This round we came up against a really good side in Vermont. Before the game we had some really good focuses which we had been working on at training and things we have done well in patches in previous weeks.

The main thing I asked from the boys was we needed a good start and to play 4 quarters of football and that is what the boys did. Unfortunately in the last quarter we did have a few injuries which made it hard for the guys on the ground so Vermont did run over the top of us but the boys never gave up to the final siren.

For 3 quarters it was in the balance and from both sides a great skilled and well played style of football. Unfortunately we had a loss but some real emerging positives of the style of football we played, the discipline and unselfishness of players and the growth of players Paicey, Josh, Max, Pest, Stallsy and Dewy continuing 3 weeks of great footy.

Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4
Vermont 3.4-22 7.5-47 9.8-62 12.15-87
Bayswater 3.1-19 5.3-33 7.5-47 7.6-48

Great work boys we still have a lot to improve but for the future of your football you are going in the right direction regardless of results.
