Match Report – Under 12 Girls – Round 8, 2018

U12 Girls – Bayswater vs Blackburn.

Today we played Blackburn at home.

What a freezing cold day for footy, at least no rain. Had to do a longer warm up to get the girls going and to warm up their hands.

Blackburn had a lot of players so we played with 18 each on the field and we used the full ground. This opened the game right up.

We started very good today and continued that for most of the game. We had one little lapse, but they quickly turned it around and got back to playing good football.

The younger and less experienced girls really stood up today so everyone played well. Because of our awesome pressure, it was a little quieter than usual in our backline.

Our talk was really good and they shared the ball well today.

A really good 4 quarter game.

We won 52-6.
