Match Report – Under 14 Girls – Grand Final, 2019

U14 Girls – Bayswater vs Heathmont

Today was the Grand Final. It was a great day for footy and we were ready to give it a crack.

The game started pretty full on. The pressure and attack of the ball showed that both sides were ready to go. As close as it was, Heathmont were just
able to win a bit more of the ball resulting in them leading at quarter time.

The second and third quarters were very even so the lead they had in the first quarter was the lead they had going into the last.

We pumped ourselves up for a big last quarter and we kicked a goal to get us within a goal to win the game. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get that last goal resulting in us losing by 2 points.

In a tough scrappy game, the girls tried hard all day. We lost 9-11
