U17 Green Boys Rd2 Match Report…

Congratulations to Rory on playing his first ever game of competitive footy.
It’s a brave effort for a 14 year old fella to come to our team and take on lads much bigger and older and have a real crack at footy. Looking forward to seeing you develop throughout the season. Well done Rory.
We also had Lachie and Dylan from Waverley blues join our team for the day.
Tremendous leadership displayed by these two champs all day, and we would welcome them back always.
Brandon was fantastic when we moved him up to the Wing. He chased, tackled and really brought great pressure around the footy.
Even got a blood nose for his trouble. Well done Brando.
Jack and Maxi had really good second halves, Jack up forward working really hard with Dylan to create some scoring opportunities and Maxi down helping out in defence and nearly took a one handed specky.
I thought all the lads showed improvement today, particularly with tackling and pressure.
Another part of our journey complete and looking forward to all the lads working hard at training and improving and having the little wins that we talk about.
