U17 Boys Green Rd11 Match Report…
Bayswater Green vs Lilydale.
Today we played Lilydale at home and had a terrific game.
The lads were hard at the footy all day.
We were fortunate to have Caleb, Jordy and Sean help us out from the Gold team and all these boys were fantastic contributors and leaders out there today.
We also welcomed AJ back for his first game in nearly two years and he gave us some great forward pressure all day and helped set up a goal. Well done AJ.
Joey played his first game for Baysie today and was hard at it through the Midfield and gave the team great drive all day.
Matty was tough and full of run across half back and played a terrific game all day.
Brandon kept running and competing hard all day and his perseverance paid off with a couple of terrific goals.
And Maxi was great too today, we always ask him to play multiple roles each week and today again was terrific in helping his team move the ball forward.
Moe also set up a couple of goals with some terrific run on handball timed to perfection.
Really proud of all the boys today as they should be too. Never gave up and were ferocious at the ball all day.
