Match Report – Under 12 Girls – Round 1, 2018

U12 Girls – Ferntree Gully vs Bayswater.

Not very nice weather for Round 1 but that’s footy.

Ours girls attitude at the start of the game was great.

Because of our low numbers we had 2 girls from the other team play with us each quarter and the girls were very welcoming to those girls.

Our girls tried hard today, we spent a lot of time getting them into the correct positions because we had a lot new girls learning the game.

We were beat very convincingly on the scoreboard but the improvement from our girls in the second half was great. The other team just finished off better than us.

I’m sure we will improve every week.

Goals: Not goal scorers.
