Match Report – Under 12 Girls – Semi Final, 2018
U12 Girls – Bayswater vs Heathmont.
Today was the second semi final against Heathmont at The Basin.
Any final is big but today’s winner goes straight into the grand final so we were very keen to play we’ll go straight into grand final.
I was a nice day for football and we had a good warm up so we were ready to go.
Unfortunately we started way too slow and Heathmont came out firing. They were more desperate for the ball, tackled us well and their skills were good. Our girls tried really hard but Heathmont just had the polish we were striving for.
They took an early lead and could’ve been an even bigger lead if it wasn’t for our backline who worked hard to stop them kicking goals.
We finally started playing the footy we know we can in the last quarter but we left our run too late and didn’t put the score on the board after having the ball for most of the last quarter.
