Congratulations to our mighty Club!!
We are proud to announce that Bayswater Junior Football Club has been awarded ‘Club Of The Year’ at last night's Knox City Council Sport and Leisure Awards!!!
This award is a testament to the tireless hours our greatly valued volunteers give each and every week. Committee, team officials, all of our amazing club parents and also our older age group players who give their time to help out the young ones, this award is a credit to you all – thank you!!!
Also on this special night, our Club Secretary and Life Member, Beccy Dawber, received the prestigious and very well deserved ‘Club Person Of The Year’ award!!
Amidst a very worthy and hard working volunteer group of 23 nominations from all areas of our sporting community, including our very own Gael Peters (Treasurer) and Wendy Gielen (Merchandise and Grants Coordinator), Beccy recieved the honours. Beccy is now in her 8th year on the Club Committee, and has held roles within the Club including team manager, trainer, registrar, secretary and everything in between. Always the first to offer help and support, Beccy's involvement with our Club has been a major factor in our progression and family focused outlook. On behalf of us all, thank you Beccy for your love of our Club!!!
