U18 Girls Rd3 Match Report…
Round 3 vs Wantirna South.
Templeton Reserve was the venue for our Round 3 clash with Wantirna South.
We had much of the play for the first quarter, but couldn’t capitalise, with Wantirna South entering the quarter time break with a lead.
For the remainder of the game, we were able to get reward for effort, scoring 7 goals, while our backline continually repelled any attack from their opponents.
We registered our first win for the season 7.9-51 to Wantirna South’s 2.1-13.
It is difficult to single out best players for the game, as everyone contributed something to the win, which coaches and supporters love to see.
