U10s Mixed Rd5 Match Report…

Round 5 v Upper Ferntree Gully

Our warm up was interrupted with Seth falling ill and being unable to play. We rallied around Seth and it was a key focus to play for him today. During the week we focused on zoning in our forward half and defensive huddles with dedicated leads.

During the game we could see glimpses of this started to occur, with a majority of the game being play in our forward half from the second quarter. There were some great passages of play and teamwork during the game which led to more scoring for us and less for Upper FTG.

Today Phoenix and Ollie kicked their first goals for the club.

Overall, we played 3 outstanding quarters.
