Match Report – Under 12 – Round 2, 2019
U12 – Forest Hill vs Bayswater
Our second game of the season came after the Easter break, and the boys started really well against a bigger side. Using the wind well, and with a great team effort, the boys led at quarter time, and after holding firm against the wind, also went into half time with a 9 point lead.
The second half saw the bigger Forest Hill boys come out and play a very physical game of football which seemed to upset a few of our boys. Forest Hill played the conditions better, and a strong second half from them saw us go down by 19 points. Final Score:

Hopefully the boys can learn from the physical style of play we faced – firstly, not to let it upset us, and secondly how to ride the bumps and keep our eyes on the ball, playing the type of football we want to play, and we know we can play. Keeping our focus on what we can control will go a long way to helping us win some games this year.
Special mention to some big efforts from Cody, Malakai, Jackson, and Rohan – with Cody getting his first career goal, and Rohan his first for the year. Well done boys.
