Match Report – Under 17 – Round 13, 2019

U17 – Bayswater vs Wantirna South

Our first night game under lights, the boys were eagerly waiting for this game and I thought we had a very good chance to win.

It was wet and scrappy night, we had more of the ball in the first but only scored 2 points to 8.

The second quarter was much the same, but we got our noses in front and led by 1 point.

It was the third quarter and it was still raining, again the boys pressure and attack didn’t waver and we went into the last quarter with a 14 point lead.

I could see the determination on the boys face they weren’t going to be defeated. It was a fantastic effort by every player and for the record we WON by 18 points. WIN WIN WIN
