Match Report – Under 14 Girls – Semi Final, 2019
U14 Girls – Bayswater vs South Croydon
Today was our first final and we played South Croydon at Vermont.
The sun was out but it was pretty windy. We new it was going to be a tough game against South Croydon because we had had a tough game against them last time.
The game started as expected and pressure from both side ways right up there. Bit by bit we started winning more contests enabling us to get the ball forward and get some score on the board. This set the tone for the day. We were really good in the second quarter increasing our lead.
In the second half we made a few changes and all the girls stood up and played there roles so we increased our lead. Our backline was awesome and stopped all attack from the other side to keep them scoreless for the day.
We won 63-0 but the game was a lot harder than the scoreboard showed. Great game by the girls.
