Round 4 vs The Basin
The Basin were our opponents for our Round 4 clash at Dobson Park.
During large parts of the game, our defence was under siege, but often we were our own worst enemy, by not manning up properly and allowing sometimes two, three or four opponents to run free to receive the ball.
As a team we left too much to too few, and we really need to work on our defensive pressure.
Pleasingly, we did hit the scoreboard, and managed to keep the score to one goal apiece in the final quarter.
Hopefully, next time we play The Basin we can use this result to measure our improvement as we continue to train hard over the season.
In the end, The Basin won the game 10.15-75 to 3.1-19.
Better players for us on the day were Jocelyn, Paige, Charli, Sienna and Rhian.
