Round 7 vs Croydon
Only 14 lads available today but Croydon were kind enough to give us two players to even up.
It was a tough game in the first half as we were not putting our best foot forward in regards to chasing, being accountable for our opponent and matching up.
We started a lot better after QTR time and started to do the above.
After half time we continued to compete, run and even play on a little.
Led by Lachie who was terrific all day both down back and on the ball.
Will and Phoinex were good at the ruck contests against a tall leaping ruckman. Brandon and Cooper tried hard all day and were really good competitors all day. Maxi and Nerius really improved in the second half and were having a real crack on the wing and down back. Kodi and Alex also kept trying and never gave up competing all day too. It was good for Al to have a run on the ball as a new experience. Also Daniel showed some great leadership down back with some great kick outs and defensive clearances.
