U8s Mixed Rd7 Match Report…

Round 7 vs Blackburn

Now at the half way mark of the season, our Bayswater under 8’s played Blackburn on a bright and sunny Sunday morning. It’s been great to see the team list grow to 15 players (9 at the start of the season) and we had our loudest rendition of the Bayswater song at the end of the game.

Our two teams were led magnificently by Anmar and Levi who each played starring roles for their teams.

We had a focus on marking, running with the ball and defending during training and the kids have a “run first” attitude when they pick up the ball which is good to see.  We will work on bringing in some handball drills this Friday to practice looking for handball opportunities.
