U16 Girls Rd7 Match Report…
Round 7 – home vs North Ringwood
Today we played North Ringwood at home.
It was a very physical game today. North Ringwood were a strong and tall team.
In the first quarter we presented very well enabling us to get the ball but we just couldn’t get the goals on the board. In the second quarter, I moved the girls around a bit and they adjusted well and continued to play good footy.
We had a bit of a lapse in the 3rd quarter through not manning up and being a bit hesitant going for the ball.
We picked up in the last quarter and came home strong.
We won 78-11 but the game was a lot closer than the scoreboard showed.
North Ringwood missed some opportunities where they should’ve kicked goals and we kicked a fair few in the last quarter to blow the score out.
