Girls played very well today. Everybody had a crack. We shared the ball around well and you can definitely notice improvement in their skills.

Today we took control from the start and capitalized when they weren’t picking us up.
We didn’t play great but we weren’t getting a lot of pressure from the opposition so we were still able to kick a lot of goals.

Today was a very cold rainy day. Not ideal to start the season off.
But the girls came ready to play. Their skill levels were good, adjusted well to the conditions, put lots of pressure on the other team and shared the ball well.

A home game with much better weather greeted us for our round two game against Boronia. We had 17 players, while Boronia were only able to start the game with 11. We evened up the numbers as best we could as Boronia had two extra girls arrive late in the first quarter. Our captains for this round were Remi and Charlie.

Our first game of the season was away against Chirnside Park. A cold blast of winter weather greeted us for the day, where almost three quarters of our team were playing their first game. Organised chaos prior to the game as we kitted out our newest players Maddie and Sienna and we were ready to get the season started.
